Our friend from Bible Study, Anita

Please pray for Anita, a friend of ours from our Thursday night Bible Study. She has lupus and as a result had a kidney transplant a few years back. The kidney has since failed and she was doing dialisys 4 times a week. She took a turn for the wor…se a few months ago and had that kidney removed and has been hospitalized ever since. It looks like she may die. Her husband is from Nigeria and they were only married 5 years ago. Anita is 33. She has no more strength even to speak. She is a Christian, but she still is in so much bodily pain. Please pray for comfort for her and her husband in this time. Thank you.

So a miracle as happened. Last week, the outlook was bleak, very bleak. She couldn’t speak, couldn’t move, was eating through a tube…but today, she was feeding herself, off the feeding tube, could sit in a chair, talk for hours…we are truly marveling at God’s healing powers! Praise God with us!
A few days ago, Anita was resuscitated, but yesterday, she started to move her arms again. It is truly amazing to see her husband’s faith during this time. We may be watching a miracle in process. But we know, God will be glorified through this whole process.
Anita is basically in a coma-like state. She’s almost non-responsive and can no longer speak. The Doctors can’t do anything for her and the outlook isn’t good. Please keep on praying for her comfort from pain and for her husband.
