Quick Trip to Ireland
It’s amazing how I can say “Quick Trip” and “Ireland” in the same sentence! Everything here is so close together that we could find a great deal on flights last month and be hopping on a plane this month and 2 hours later, be in a totally different country. We celebrated being done with German school with surrounding ourselves in English
The purpose wasn’t just celebration – we went to visit friends of ours that moved there about 4 months ago. We were only there two full days (with travel days as book ends), but we made the most of our adventure. We took a tourist bus around Dublin (I was a bit skeptical, but I highly recommend them as a way to get an overview of the city, take some great photos (provided your camera is fast enough), and feel the wind in your face). The next day, we went to an old burial ground and saw some of the Irish landscape. Truly breathtaking!

Laura & Thadd,
What great opportunities to visit! We are jealous of that capability, but so happy for you.
We spent 3 weeks over a home exchange in Ireland, and really enjoyed our time.
God bless you,
Max & Marilyn
