Usually, it's me talking to a German friend or bumbling through some German - not having whole dreams in German outside of the context of me being an American trying to speak German. I do, on the other hand, think a lot in German. Usually, I form German sentences in my head on how I might respond to certain situations or questions. It's good practice, but often, it's perfect in my head and comes out anything but. I have once or twice, but not in the way you may think.
