Life without the Internet

Have you ever wondered what life would be like “now” without the internet or your own computer? I know some of you remember what it was like (believe it or not, I still remember it a bit). Even while we’re sending out updates, I find myself telling people to visit our website for more information, but I know some of our supporters don’t have email, a computer, or Internet. How heavily I rely on getting our message out via electronic means!
When I think about the powerful tool the Internet can be – either for good or for evil – I truly believe that Christians need to tap into it more. Instead of a small audience of people we come into direct contact with, we can have an audience of millions of people! Look at Myspace.com – millions of people who want to be heard, but Christians are so slow to want to be heard. That’s why I truly believe in building the Kingdom of God online. There are so many churches and ministries that can’t afford to have a website, but if they invested in one (or had one done for free – which will be part of my ministry), their ministry would grow so much more quickly!

I’m so excited to be part of this important ministry through eDOT!

We are on a mission from God which is the greatest part of all of it! We couldn’t do it without his calling on our lives and we’re very excited that he has made it abundantly clear where we should be on a mission to :-)

    Hey Laura,

I like your site. Every time I see “We’re on a Mission” I want to add “from God” just like in the movie “The Blues Brothers”. Anyway, looking forward to working with you and Thadd in Germany. Take care and we’re praying your support (both prayer and financial) will come in quickly.

    God bless,
    Courtney
