Lilli Adelyn
Lilli Adelyn was born Wednesday, August 5 at 7:42p. She weighed 8lbs 5 ounces. Her name is Lilli Adelyn which means “Beautiful Child of the King” and she is very beautiful!
We really are doing quite well. Lilli is a content baby, sleeps a lot and eats well. She’s almost back up to her birth weight already! We received EXCELLENT care in the hospital and feel well equipped to try this whole parenting thing at home. Besides Laura being a bit sore, she’s feeling great as well. We both feel so blessed to have so many people praying for us and for Lilli. We have felt your prayers surround us as God’s arms. We wish you could have all shared in her birthday, but you’ll meet her very soon.

So…we like the “hang loose” picture on the newsletter, but sadly, Mike told me that it originated in Hawaii. So Lilli is really a Hawaiian girl. You’ll just have to take her there someday! Hehehe. She is adorable, by the way!
